About Us

Our objectives

1. To undertake scientific research in the areas of linguistics and language studies for the advancement of the humanities and the sciences involving language, and of education;
2. To promote the development of new methodology and technology to enhance language learning and teaching, and research;
3. To synergize research efforts and to create critical mass among colleagues within EdUHK and researchers in Hong Kong; and
4. To promote international collaboration through networking with other key players in selected fields within the ambit of “Linguistics and Language Studies”.
